Chris Brown, Marketing & Branding Expert

After 17 years in marketing and branding at Fortune 500 corporations, Chris Brown founded Marketing Resources & Results in 1998 to help companies with marketing: strategic planning and executing tactics.

Her marketing expertise, knowledge and experience have helped add value to her clients’ companies and brands.

Chris spent over 14 years in the highly competitive toy industry, first in product management at Hasbro and then leading the marketing communications efforts at Rubbermaid’s Little Tikes division.

Chris has experience in marketing and branding consumer products and business-to-business products, as well as professional services. She serves on the board of trustees for United Disabilities Services in Akron and the marketing committee of Junior Achievement in Akron.

Chris graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and later pursued an MBA in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island. She received the Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award from SMEI of Akron, was honored as a Finalist by Athena International, an organization that recognizes women for their leadership roles in their profession and the community and received the School of Journalism Alumni Achievement Award from Kent State University. Chris has also earned several ranking awards from Toastmasters International, a public speaking and leadership organization.

Chris lives in Hudson with her husband and their teenage daughter. Their son lives at Kent State majoring in VCD. She enjoys gardening, photography, blogging and taking their two large dogs to the Bow Wow Beach dog park in Stow.
