Marketing Company Founder Helps Entrepreneurship Students at the University of Akron’s Wayne College Learn How to Start a Business
April 14, 2009 ---During difficult economic times, entrepreneurs find opportunity, challenge and new business. On April 20, Chris Brown, president of Marketing Resources & Results, will share entrepreneurship strategies and tactics with the entrepreneurship students of University of Akron’s Wayne College. Brown will tell the students what she learned when she started a full service marketing agency during tough economic times and how they can use her experience to better help themselves.
“I understand that the economy is struggling and it is difficult for small business owners to succeed,” explained Brown. “Perhaps others can benefit and learn from my experiences to get past similar economic challenges today.”
The presentation will cover the three tiers of marketing strategies that every marketing plan should have as well as the processes that make these tactics work. Brown will explain the services that her firm can offer to businesses and will explain how her firm uses technology and the web to their advantage. The event, which is by invitation only, will take place on April 20, 2009 at 7:30 pm in Orrville, Ohio.
