Kent State University Welcomes Marketing Entrepreneur to Present at the Entrepreneurship Center on Campus
Students in the Entrepreneurship Program at Kent State University Learn from Marketing Company Founder How to Start a Business
April 21, 2009 ---During difficult economic times, entrepreneurs find opportunity, challenge and new business. On April 30, Chris Brown, president of Marketing Resources & Results, will share entrepreneurship strategies and tactics with the entrepreneurship students at Kent State University. Brown will tell the students what she learned when she started a full service marketing agency during tough economic times and how they can use her experience to better help themselves.
“I understand that the economy is struggling but it’s the enterprising entrepreneurs and small business owners that can make a difference in Northeast Ohio,” explained Brown. “Perhaps others can benefit and learn from my experiences to get past similar economic challenges today.”
The presentation will cover the three tiers of marketing strategies that every marketing plan should have as well as the processes that make these tactics work. Brown will explain the services that her firm can offer to businesses and will explain how her firm uses technology and the web to their advantage. The event, which is by invitation only, will take place on April 30, 2009 from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. in the business building on Kent State’s campus, in Kent, Ohio.
