Marketing Firm Certified as an EDGE Company
August 7, 2009 ---Marketing Resources & Results, Inc. is one of the few marketing firms in the state of Ohio to achieve the distinction of EDGE Certification. EDGE means "Encouraging Diversity Growth and Equity" and is administered through the Ohio Department of Economic Development (ODOD).

EDGE is a program set up by the state of Ohio to encourage small business growth by helping small companies to do business with the state of Ohio agencies, colleges, and universities. An EDGE certification also gives an added advantage to the small businesses who want to do business with larger companies that do business with Ohio agencies as a sub-contractor.
Most of the state agencies, colleges and universities in Ohio have an annual goal to use 5% of their budget with Ohio based small business. State projects that are fulfilled by large corporations may also have goals to use EDGE-certified subcontractors to encourage the growth of small business.
The State of Ohio developed the program because it is committed to making all state contracts, services, benefits and opportunities available without discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age or ancestry.
